Adult Winter Reading Challenge

Joplin Public Library's Winter Reading Challenge for Adults is perfect for cold days indoors, getting a jump start on New Year’s Resolutions, reading new things, or simply enjoying a challenge! The challenge is complete by accomplishing 5 of 15 provided reading activities. You choose which 5 activities to complete, and what books to read. Book titles may only be used once. Complete the challenge to receive a ceramic mug and 3 tickets to enter into a prize raffle. The raffle options are: $30 to Books-A-Million, $30 to B&B Theatres, and $30 to Joplin Avenue Coffee.

Participate on paper by printing the challenge form Winter Reading Challenge 25-26 (see Attachments on this calendar event) or stop at our Reference Department to pick up a copy. Or participate electronically on Beanstack by clicking here (you can also use the Beanstack app).

Challenge begins December 1st and ends January 31st at 11:59pm. Join anytime in December or January. The prize raffle drawing will take place February 2nd and winners will be contacted the same day. A Joplin Public Library card is not required to participate in this challenge.
