Event Details

The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive at the Joplin Public Library from 11am to 4pm today. The blood drive will take place in the Community Room and is part of the Four States Community Blood Drive sponsored by KSNF, KODE, and FOURSTATESHOMEPAGE.COM. The Red Cross asks members of the Black community to help meet the needs of patients with sickle cell disease and other medical conditions to improve health outcomes by donating.

The need for blood is not limited to patients with sickle cell disease. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion, so schedule to donate today!

Please call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: KSNF to schedule an appointment.

Donate in June and receive a free t-shirt.

Maximize your blood donation. Help more patients. If you are an eligible type O, B – or A – donor, consider making a Power Red donation. Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component.

Streamline your donation experience and save up to 15 minutes by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete your pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of your appointment.
