An Outreach Worker from Economic Security will be at the library for free consultations.

A Career Counselor from the Joplin Job Center will be in the library’s lobby for free consultations.

A Nutrition Program Associate from MU Extension Health and Human Sciences will be available in the library’s lobby for free SNAP consultations. No library card or appointment is required.

Joplin Public Library will be one of several stops for Connect2Cutlure's Concert Truck! Visit our outdoor classroom on May 19th at 2pm to experience the 16-foot box truck transform into a mobile concert hall.

The Board of Trustees is a policymaking board and is fiscally responsible for how the Library’s funds are spent. With a few exceptions, the Board meets every month on the 3rd Tuesday at 4:00 pm in the Community Room at the Library.
