Format:

Rated/K-12/K-8: 4 round Swiss, Game in 25 with 3 second delay (G/25,d3)

 

Sections:
Rated Open: Requires a current USCF membership to play.

K-12: Open to players grades K-12

K-8: Open to players grades K-8

K-12 and K-8 sections may be combined for pairing purposes.

All games played under US Chess tournament regulations. One 1/2 point bye available if requested before the beginning of round 2

Round Times;
Rated/K-12/K-8: 10:00, 11:30, 1:30, 3:00 (or ASAP)

Entry Fee:
Rated Open: $20 (100% of entries go to support the JPL Children's Department and Chess Club)
K-12/K-8: FREE
 

Donations always welcome

Prizes:
Rated Open: $200 guaranteed (sponsored) prize fund
 

1st - $90, 2nd - $60, 3rd - $30, U1200/UNR - $20
 

K-12 and K-8: Top-2 finishers in each group given awards.

Registration: Advance registration requested. Rated entries can be paid on 12/7/2024 or mailed in advance
Players in the Rated Open must have a current USCF membership.
