Event Details

MSSU Professor Dr. Megan Bever will visit the library to present this lecture. Americans have a long and complicated history with intoxicants—especially beer, and deciding what to brew and how much to drink are central components of our identities. What we drink, in many ways, reflects who we are – as women, men, and as Americans.

Dr. Bever will also give this presentation at MSSU Spiva Library on Tuesday, April 22, 2:30-3:30pm.

This lecture is part of Joplin Reads Together, the library's Community Read designed for adults. You do not need to participate in Joplin Reads Together to attend this program!

No registration, fee, or library card required to attend.
