Dear Readers,
I do hope you will join me to learn about the history of epistolary fiction from its earliest roots in classical Roman literature, through the golden age of the epistolary novel in the 18th century, and into its modern variations. From the Sibylline leaves of the Cumaean Sibyl to Sybil’s letters we’ll consider the powerful potential of this fragmented form. - Dr. Amy Gates, MSSU English Faculty
