A special storytime designed to connect readers and learners of multiple generations. JPL is partnering with Wildwood Senior Living for this event. We will read Ruby Finds a Worry and create a collaborative activity.

Meet up with people that share similar interests! We watch anime, draw, and hang out. Plus this month we'll combine the comforts of ramen and anime by sampling ramen noodle cups!

Your next read awaits you at Book Swap! How it works: bring a book (or several) that you no longer want, swap them for books brought by other participants, chat about books with other readers! 

Our Bingo Night program, but with a twist! Mixed into regular rounds of Bingo there will also be rounds of Book Bingo -- we'll give reading related hints and participants search for the answer on their Book Bingo card. 

2024 brings the 8th Annual Joplin Writers' Faire! Held annually each October, this event connects all sorts of writers to their existing and potentially new audiences while encouraging community support of local and regional writers.

This program is designed for individuals ages 18 years and up with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. We explore a book through a storytime that includes reading, hanging out, activities, and crafts!
