Joplin Public Library's Winter Reading Challenge for Adults is perfect for cold days indoors, getting a jump start on New Year's Resolutions, or simply enjoying books!

This program is self-led. Come enjoy a quiet space reserved for teens to study/work on schoolwork! Work solo or bring a group. 

Join us for the Post Art Library [Ugly Sweater] Holiday Tea in the Post Reading Room inside Joplin Public Library on Saturday, December 14th for tea and treats, a performance by Joplin High School's Strolling Strings orchestal group, DIY ugly swea

The Community Clinic of Southwest Missouri will be at the library from 4-6pm for a COVID booster clinic. No appointment, library card, or fee is necessary. COVID boosters are for ages 5 years old to adult.

Create your own mini-journal, decorate it with stickers, and fill it with good stuff! Available while supplies last beginning at 4PM.

Calling all puzzle enthusiasts! Put your jigsaw puzzle skills to the test! Register a group of 1-4 adults and compete against other teams to see who can finish a 500 piece puzzle first.

Hang out in the Teen Department and choose a craft to make or bring your own to work on. We'll have a variety of projects and supplies. 

The Alzheimer's Association, Greater Missouri Chapter, will be presenting this course, no fee, registration, or library card required to attend.

Join Master Gardener Eric Osen as he teaches winter sowing, a method of starting seeds in late winter for spring transplanting by creating a mini greenhouse out of milk jugs! There will also be an accompanying craft. All supplies provided.

The first program in our new Adulting 101 series focuses on mental health basics, coping, skills, peer support, and self care. No registration is required and all teens ages 12 and up are welcome.
